The most often used technique is to French polish the piece with hand applied padding lacquer. This technique restores the natural beauty of the wood and leaves a beautiful polished luster. All brass is polished with a machine buffer leaving a nice hand polished look. Damaged veneers, wood carvings, or other parts that need repair are hand crafted as necessary to completely restore your furniture. All repairs are made to look old and part of the original piece and not left looking new or machine made. Hand work is always employed when restoring antique furniture.
