CLASSES

    L. Ciuffo Studios is proud to offer a 7 week (21 hour) comprehensive course of instruction for individuals with some basic working knowledge of furniture finishing and materials. Classes are small in size and offer a lot of one on one assistance. This instruction will add to the student's knowledge of how to analyze wood color and the steps taken to restore it to its original finish. Students will create standard and varied furniture finishes that are commonly seen today. They will gain a thorough understanding of color techniques, basic applications, useable formulas and a supply of sources for tools and materials. Finishes that look complicated are reduced to simple procedures saving long hours of experimentation. This course will expand and broaden existing skills and help categorize previous knowledge. L. Ciuffo Studios is dedicated to maintaining the highest standards in fine wood finishing and is sincerely interested in sharing techniques and knowledge with others who love fine wood furniture.
